I've been doing well... I scrubbed the floor of the temple yesterday and cleaned off the porch... It's a lot less lonely with Sasarai-san around...

I'm ... not sure. But from what Sasarai told me, and based on what I know about Q, the two of them got into an existential argument, so Q turned the bishop into that stone creature. I think he wanted to teach Sasarai a lesson about existence or reveal some hidden truth. Q will change him back eventually, don't worry.

No, but he is tied to the Essence of Earth, or something like that. He mentioned a Rune before ... Maybe Q thought this form would help him grow closer to his natural element?
